Alhaji Bakare: A Frontline Investment Guru - Otunba Tokun

A real estate consultant, Otunba Tokun Olatunji has described High Chief Yekini Olawale Bakare, the Balogun of Ajiranland as a frontline investment guru at the centre of excellence.

Speaking on his 80th birthday anniversary, he hinted that he has added in no small measure to the industrial development of the state. Excerpts:

Q: Alhaji Bakare at 80, do you think he has made his marks over the years?

A: I have been working with Alhaji Bakare in the last twenty five years and I am very happy God give him the grace to celebrate 80th anniversary on earth and he will celebrate more years of this outstanding accomplishment

Chief Bakare is an elderstatesman in Eti-Osa and Lagos State in general, a frontline community leader per excellence. He took keen interest in the infrastructural growth of Eti-Osa more importantly in the area of housing and he has also took a step further to reduce housing deficit in the state by constructing housing scheme and shelters for the people.

We must commend private developers in Lagos state because they are really sacrificing much for the state and the government also needs to provide social housing.

However, there is the need for the state government to construct a water scheme along Eti-Osa Epe corridor considering its significance to the people.

Q: What is your message to Alhaji Bakare on his birthday anniversary?

A: I wish him happy birthday anniversary and prayed that God will continue to give him sound health to flourish and excel. He will continue to live in abundance of Joy and fruitfulness.
